Photo of some money

At each service, a collection is held and the money raised is used by the church to support the work in the community. There is also a box near the entrance for cash donations which can be used by visitors.

Three of our churches even have card readers which mean that it is now easy for people to give contactlessly (NFC).

Online Giving

Virtual visitors can give online at two of our churches, making it easier for people to donate that way.

Why should I give?

Churches rely on the generosity of their congregations and their communities to support their mission and ministry. Parish churches exist to serve their communities. They do this thanks to the generosity of friends and supporters.

We don't need to look far to see that people everywhere need help. This might be financial, spiritual or practical. Most churches have a food collection facility and this food is distributed to those in hunger poverty.

Leading a generous life can take many forms: by giving money, giving time, giving our possessions, giving our talents and abilities. All giving is valuable and celebrated.

Thank You

In these days of busy-ness, it's easy to take things for granted and forget to say a simple "Thank you!" Churches raise the majority of their funds through local communities. This might be a surprise to some!

So this is a big thank you to all our supporters for all their gifts. Whether those gifts are money, time, talents or ability.
