Five Churches - One Benefice

Following the stunning coastline of the East Riding, north of Bridlington, past the Flamborough lighthouse and up to the sandy beaches of North Yorkshire. From the A165 in the west, to the sea shore; passing through the villages of Sewerby, Flamborough, Bempton, Buckton, Speeton and Reighton.

Wherever you are on the Headland, you will find a welcoming church which loves you, and cares for you.

The Benefice is made up of four Parishes: Sewerby with MartonFlamboroughBempton and BucktonReighton and Speeton

The churches are all at the centre of village life, for the glory of God, and for everyone to use.

As part of our expression of faith, we offer hospitality after services and at many social events throughout the year.

Social highlights include: flower festivals in summer, harvest festivals, Remembrance, nativity on the hoof (with real donkey), and a Christingle service which brings families together to herald Christmas. If you have a head for heights and like early mornings, then the 7am Ascension Day service from the top of St Oswald’s tower might be for you!
