Christening is the name for Baptism of a baby and is called Christening because it was traditionally when children were given their Christian name. Baptism marks the beginning of a journey with God which continues for the rest of our lives, the first step in response to God’s love. In order to start this journey properly we offer baptism preparation at the end of which you can decide to be baptised or have your children Christened.
